Water From Your Eyes - Everyone’s Crush [album visualizers]
Upon the release of Water From Your Eyes’ Everyone’s Crushed, Matador wanted visualizers to be created to accompany the 2023 album’s non-single tracks. The visuals for the videos were inspired by Old Hollywood Western movies, suburban decay, and the ruins of a consumerist empire. To accentuate the swelling beats of the tracks, I incorporated pixelated swirls that twist and contort with the music to maintain visual interest throughout the entirety of the videos.
DJ Florentino - Constrictor (ft. BAMBII & KD One) [track lyric video]
For Florentino’s 2022 single “Contrictor (ft. BAMBII & KD One)”, XL tasked me with creating a lyric video for the track. I leaned heavily on the single artwork for the visuals, featuring a snake skin texture which cuts on-beat, a rotating chrome logo, and a neon box containing the scrolling lyrics.
not dvr - wishuwerehere [track lyric video]
For not dvr’s 2023 single “wishuwerehere”, XL tasked me with creating a lyric video for the track. The visualizer features moving elements directing lifted straight out of the single art and textured lyrics to accompany the grainy visuals.
